The Premium Elite is optimised for front and back carrying. Thanks to the integrated newborn function, you can carry your baby on your front from birth and on your back from around 6 months.

For ergonomic reasons, wearing the device facing forwards is not recommended.
Does the baby carrier fit both me and my partner?

Yes! All Rookie baby carriers are one-size-fits-all, so both tall men and petite women (or vice versa) can use the same carrier.

Thanks to the adjustable waist belt, it can be individually adjusted and is suitable for waist sizes from approx. 64 cm to 135 cm – for maximum comfort and a perfect fit.
Can I carry my baby facing outwards in the Rookie?

Carrying your baby facing outwards is not recommended by experts, which is why the Rookie baby carrier does not support this position.

One important reason is the squat-spread position, which is essential for the healthy development of your baby's spine and hip joints. When carrying your baby in front, their legs and back are stretched, which can affect their still-soft hip joints.
