We can all admit that life can get a little crazy sometimes. It's so easy to get lost in the juggling act between work, parenting, everyday life, and all the tasks that need to be done 🧡
We forget how important a moment is and how we won't get these little moments back so easily. We tend to let the day slip by, ticking things off our lists and trying to make sure everyday life runs perfectly... but often, unconsciously, we miss the special memories that are right in front of us.
Our babies grow every day. They learn to roll over, crawl, stand up, walk, talk, eat, run, and become their own little beings. In just one week, they've already changed so much again... Their little feet are getting bigger, their hair is getting longer, and they'll most likely be able to do something they couldn't do last week.
We know it can be exhausting to juggle everything and still find time to truly be present with our children. The days feel like they fly by, and in the blink of an eye it's bedtime again. It's easy to get lost in the hustle and bustle of everyday life and let routine overwhelm you.
A moment of presence, of being here and now, makes all the difference in our children's lives. A moment of true connection, free from technology and lack of constant attention. Listen to their little voices, watch their little mouths move as they try to express themselves. The way their little noses wrinkle when they sneeze, or the way their eyes light up and widen at the sight of something new. Switch off the world, just for a moment, and be with them. Make them the only thing that matters for that moment, and you will feel it 🧡
In a world that never stands still, we must consciously seize the moment. Our little ones need our full attention and love. And we probably need their refreshing little souls even more. No one ever looks back and regrets not having spent time with their children. Before we know it, they're on their own in the big wide world.
Hug her every second. Hold her a little tighter. Cuddle her a little longer. The rest of the world can wait.
