A. Cancellation policy

Introduction

Consumers are entitled to a right of cancellation in accordance with the following provisions, whereby a consumer is any natural person who enters into a legal transaction for purposes that are predominantly neither commercial nor their independent professional activity:

Right of withdrawal

You have the right to withdraw from this contract within 30 days without giving any reason.

The withdrawal period is 30 days from the day on which you or a third party named by you, who is not the carrier, took possession of the last goods.

To exercise your right of withdrawal, you must inform us (Rookie Berlin GmbH, Unter den Linden 24, 10117 Berlin, Germany, tel.: +49 (0) 30 9599924-70, fax: +49 (0) 30 9599924-79, email: impressum@rookie-baby.com) of your decision to withdraw from this contract by means of a clear statement (e.g. a letter sent by post, fax or email). You can use the attached sample withdrawal form for this purpose, but this is not mandatory.

To comply with the withdrawal period, it is sufficient that you send the notification of your exercise of the right of withdrawal before the expiry of the withdrawal period.

Consequences of revocation

If you withdraw from this contract, we shall reimburse you for all payments we have received from you, including delivery costs (with the exception of additional costs resulting from your choice of a type of delivery other than the cheapest standard delivery offered by us), without delay and at the latest within fourteen days of the day on which we receive notification of your withdrawal from this contract. We will use the same means of payment for this refund as you used for the original transaction, unless expressly agreed otherwise with you; in no event will you be charged for this refund. We may refuse to refund until we have received the goods back or until you have provided proof that you have returned the goods, whichever is earlier.

You must return or hand over the goods immediately and in any case no later than fourteen days from the date on which you notify us of your withdrawal from this contract.

The deadline is met if you send the goods before the expiry of the fourteen-day period.

You bear the direct costs of returning the goods. However, on request, we will gladly provide you with a return label for returns from Germany and the EU. For the use of this label, we charge a flat fee of €5.90 per return, which will be offset against the refund.

You shall only be liable for any loss in value of the goods if this loss in value is attributable to handling of the goods that is not necessary for testing their condition, properties and functionality.

Related/financed transactions

If you finance this contract with a loan and later revoke it, you are no longer bound by the loan agreement either, provided that both contracts form an economic unit. This is particularly likely to be the case if we are also your lender or if your lender makes use of our assistance with regard to the financing. If we have already received the loan when the revocation takes effect or when the goods are returned, your lender shall assume our rights and obligations under the financed contract in relation to you with regard to the legal consequences of the revocation or return. The latter does not apply if the present contract concerns the purchase of financial instruments (e.g. securities, foreign exchange or derivatives). If you wish to avoid a contractual commitment as far as possible, exercise your right of revocation and also revoke the loan agreement if you are also entitled to a right of revocation for this.

General information

1) Please avoid damaging or contaminating the goods. Please return the goods to us in their original packaging with all accessories and packaging components. Use protective outer packaging if necessary. If you no longer have the original packaging, please use suitable packaging to ensure adequate protection against transport damage.
2) Please do not return the goods to us carriage forward.
3) Please note that the above points 1-2 are not a prerequisite for the effective exercise of the right of withdrawal.
