Osterfreude ohne Zucker: Köstliche Karotten-Muffins für Groß und Klein!

Are you looking for a healthy Easter treat that the whole family will love? Then these sugar-free carrot cakes are a great solution! Rich in nutrients and super moist, they're a fantastic alternative to chocolate Easter eggs and other treats. These muffins are not only suitable for all ages but are also ideal for introducing solids and baby-led weaning. Celebrate Easter with a healthy and delicious snack for the whole family!

You need:

  • 2 eggs
  • 180g applesauce
  • 1 tsp cinnamon
  • approximately 200g grated carrots
  • 1 tsp baking powder
  • 80g rolled oats
  • 120g flour (spelt, wheat or wholemeal)
  • 30ml (rapeseed or coconut oil)
  • 50g grated nuts (optional)

Here's how:

  1. Preheat the oven to 180 degrees and line a muffin tin with muffin cups.
  2. Mix all the liquid ingredients together and grate the carrots.
  3. Add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients and mix until a homogeneous mixture is formed. If the dough is still too sticky, you can add a splash of milk (plant-based or cow's milk).
  4. Finally, add the grated carrots and fill the muffin tins.
  5. Bake for approximately 25 minutes (varies depending on muffin size,...)
  6. Enjoy 🙂

PS: If you want the dough to be a little sweeter and suitable for children aged 1+, you can also add some maple syrup.

Happy Easter and enjoy your meal!
