- When fastening the waist belt, make sure the carrier is centred overall (i.e. not shifted to the right or left).
- The waist belt should sit above your navel on your ribs. The Belly-Kiss label should face towards you.
- Adjust the crossbar so that it reaches from the back of one knee to the other.
- Make sure your baby's bottom is the lowest point and their knees are bent at a 90° angle (M-position).
- Do not pull the side straps too tight. The aim is a slightly rounded back for your baby. Your hand should still be able to slip comfortably between your baby's back and the carrier.
- Only use the newborn function up to approx. 4 kg. Using it beyond this weight may cause deformation of the waist belt.
- When using the H-position, the H-bar should not rest on the neck but on the shoulder blades:
