General Notes

  1. When fastening the waist belt, make sure the carrier is centred overall (i.e. not shifted to the right or left).
  2. The waist belt should sit above your navel on your ribs. The Belly-Kiss label should face towards you.
  3. Adjust the crossbar so that it reaches from the back of one knee to the other.
  4. Make sure your baby's bottom is the lowest point and their knees are bent at a 90° angle (M-position).
  5. Do not pull the side straps too tight. The aim is a slightly rounded back for your baby. Your hand should still be able to slip comfortably between your baby's back and the carrier.
  6. Only use the newborn function up to approx. 4 kg. Using it beyond this weight may cause deformation of the waist belt.
  7. When using the H-position, the H-bar should not rest on the neck but on the shoulder blades:
